PAUL HILLIER'S WRITINGS

As the catalogue of his writings shows, Paul Hillier has published articles and books on a variety of music-related subjects. ON PÄRT is a collaboration with the photographer Tonu Tormis. It features four essays on different aspects of Pärt's music and a sequence of photographs of Pärt which has formed the nucleus of an international exhibition about the composer. The text is published in both Estonian and English.

Hillier's latest book is a collection of 79 mesostics based on the name of John Cage: JOHN CAGE AND THE MUSIC OF ALWAYS...information to follow soon!

Hillier is currently working on a book about vocal consorts and chamber choirs.
